Rooted in Design

New Series: Exploring Biblical Femininity and Masculinity

Introduction

It’s been on my heart for a while to talk about the way God designed men and women to live and work together. Not through the culture’s lens, but through His Word.

Everywhere I look, there’s confusion.
Men unsure how to lead without being labeled controlling.
Women unsure how to be strong without losing softness.
And so many believers caught somewhere in the middle, trying to figure out what it really means to walk in divine order.

That’s where Rooted in Design came from — a desire to go back to what God set in place from the beginning.

Why This Matters

The world keeps trying to redefine what it means to be a man or a woman, but God’s Word has not changed.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” — Genesis 1:27

That design wasn’t random. It was set in order.
The man was formed to lead with love and strength.
The woman was formed from his side — equal in worth but different in function — to nurture, support, and bring peace.
Together, they reveal the image of the Creator.

When that order is honored, peace fills the home.
When it’s ignored, things begin to unravel. Not because God’s design is outdated, but because we’ve stepped outside of it.

His design was never meant to limit us. It was meant to protect and complete us — two parts moving together, reflecting His nature and bringing harmony where there would otherwise be chaos.

The Heart Behind This Series

I’m not writing this to argue with culture or tell anyone how to live. I’m writing it because I’ve seen what happens when we forget who we were created to be.

Yeshua came not only to redeem us but to restore creation to its original order. That includes how we love, how we lead, and how we honor one another.

This isn’t about power or control. It’s about reflection.
When a man walks in strength and covering, and a woman walks in peace and wisdom, the image of God becomes visible again. That’s what this is about: restoration.

What to Expect

Throughout this series, I’ll be writing about:

  • The balance between strength and gentleness

  • What biblical leadership and submission truly mean

  • How masculinity and femininity reflect the heart of God

  • How to rebuild peace where order has been lost

Each post will be rooted in Scripture, written with love, and always pointing back to Yeshua — the perfect example of authority that serves and love that leads.

Reflection

Maybe this isn’t just about gender or marriage.
Maybe it’s about every part of life where we’ve drifted from His design — our homes, friendships, and callings.

This is an invitation to return.
To walk again in His order.
To find peace in the truth that still sets us free.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the beauty of Your design.
Forgive us for the times we’ve stepped outside of it.
Teach us how to walk again in Your order with humility, strength, and peace.
Restore what has been broken and make us reflections of Your image.

Amen.
